The first road race of the year takes runners and walkers on a scenic tour through the beautiful countryside of Frankenmuth and over the historic 1904 Gugel Bridge.

All registrants unless choosing Economy will receive a themed cotton long-sleeved t-shirt, finisher medal and amazing finish line food. There is also an option upgrade to a Sport Tek long-sleeved t-shirt for a $5 upcharge.  We have AWESOME awards for top participants.

The Economy option is for those participants who want to do the race but don't need all the extra swag and just want to save $$. They will still be eligible for awards and finish line food but won't receive a shirt or finisher medal.

The good news is even if you choose Economy and decide later you may want a medal or a shirt we will have a limited quantity for sale at our Winterlaufe Store- along with many other great merchandise!

Registration after January 19th cannot be guaranteed a race shirt or finisher medal.

Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up and onsite registration will be located at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant – Crest Room on the following dates and times:

• Friday, February 2, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM
• Saturday, February 3, from 8:00 - 9:45 AM

On-site registration closes a half hour before the start of the individual races.

Awards

The Winterläufe will provide finisher medals to all participants (except Economy)  in both the run and walk. We will also award the overall male and female finishers and top 2 in each age group in the 8K Run and Walk.

13 & Under, 14-17, 18-23, 24-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over

Parking
There are numerous free parking options in downtown Frankenmuth within close proximity to registration and the start/finish line.
